Label

The Spare Dougal Label is a small but perfectly formed label, It's not your average label, as we're not a huge company and don't have a huge roster, but we care about what we do. The idea to set up the label was borne out of necessity... the mother of all inventions. We saw artiste that we liked and wanted to hear more from but found that there was a block in their path to being able to subsist from music alone.

So with a little money, some time and a few bucket loads of passion we hope to make the music we love help the artistes with the marketing and networking that they need but don't have time to do, in order to help them build up a fan base who will want to pay for their music and keep it going. The rest of it is down to the music and the fans.

As we are but a baby in the world of labels, i.e. small and new, we don't have a huge roster as yet, but we are always interested in knowing that's out there and helping in whatever way we can. So far the people below are the people we're working with.

The Little Unsaid:

The brain child of John Elliott and the band of a thousand permutations, The Little Unsaid released their first single for download and limited addition CD on 28th November 2009. The album "Someone Else's Lulaby" is due for release later this year.
